WHAT DOES THIS COURSE COVER?

Do you make the right first impression? Or do you feel that an inability to do so is holding you back? These are the kind of issues we’ll be examining with delegates in this intensive virtual session. It’s designed to give them ways to strengthen their professional credibility, confidence and authority and increase their impact with more senior colleagues. They’ll be encouraged to examine different approaches and to assess their own personal style to help optimise their professional credibility.  

As part of this, they’ll reflect on and recognise any aspects of their performance that they believe fail to make the desired impression, including their influencing style. Once they’ve identified these areas, our experienced trainer will guide them towards developing methods to take more control over situations that currently leave them struggling. They’ll receive practical feedback and advice throughout the session. They’ll also have a ‘toolkit’ to take away with them to help create the impact they’re looking for.   

During this course participants will learn how to:  

• Create a positive first impression  

• Develop a flexible influencing style (questionnaire completed before the course)  

• Increase their impact with more senior colleagues, managers and stakeholders  

• Adapt tone and body language to create the impressions they choose  

• Be assertive (including when to be assertive)
